山神廟 Sren Hlin Mrews, or Temple of Mountain God in English, a project spawned from the rural, remote beauty of the mountainous areas of Sichuan Province, and deeply inspired by traditional Chinese folklore, literature and the dreamy beauty, romanticism and otherwordliness of rural Sichuan landscapes.

雲​山​夢​樹​(​Clouds, Mountains, Dreams, Woods), is the band's debut full-length is wonderfully composed Atmospheric Black Metal with strong traditional Chinese cultural influence. Wonderfully blissful long tracks revolving around meditative, dreamlike, peaceful melodies, evoking a deep feeling of longing and nostalgia, that are however soothing and deeply rooted in a sense of natural belonging, the BM instrumentation is accompanied by beautiful piano melodies and Folk interludes.

溪​山​清​遠​(​Streamy Mountains, Limpid Remoteness), is the EP release of a Neofolk recording composed on traditional Chinese folk instruments like Gu Qin and Xiao, and some piano as well. Songs of autumnal melancholia, staring alone at the weeping willows and magnolias, gently swinging with the mild breeze, pondering about unsolved sorrows, fans of Tenhi or folk era Ulver would fine similarities here.

Both recordings are not only presented in one beautifully designed double LP release, but serve perfectly each other as spiritually connected twins. 2 x 180g heavy black vinyl are housed in Japanese-style tip-on gatefold jacket.
